Leadership and Values. As a leader, your actions and decisions are informed and constrained by your core values. Core values are the nonnegotiable philosophical underpinnings that influence your decisions and remain stable through environmental changes.

This app allows you to consider 52 common leadership values and add one or two of your own. Through a series of forced-choice activities, you will select and make explicit your five top core leadership values.

Remember that your core values are “values-in-use,” not espoused values (those you say you use) or aspirational values (those you wish to use). Values-in-use are those values that you regularly use, consciously and subconsciously, in making leadership decisions.
